Cage CV8450-CV-8750

The CV-8450 and CV-8750 are multi-hole cage, top guided, single seated globe control valves.
These valves have been designed to solve problems that high ΔP would cause in traditional single-seated, single-bore globe valves. The special cage design allows noise reduction and cavitation reduction for liquid service, thanks to high recovery factor.
Quick change type design allows for easy removal of trim components without dismantling the valve body from the line and without the use of special tools. Cage design is intrinsically the most stable one if compared to others type of trim. Plug is guided by the cage for its entire stroke, this allows a more stable operation; plug my be balanced to reduce the static thrusts on the plug and therefore for the use of smaller actuators.

  

Control Ball Valve 8600

The CBV-8600 rotary control valves design is the solution to application where increased capacity and large control range is needed, and where noise, cavitation or plugging fluid are a problem.
The very simple design provides a multistage, variable trim combined with high capacity. The flow through parallel drilled plates achieves noise reduction and anticavitation benefit. This result is accomplished thanks to high recovery factor available up to approx. 60° opening.
Trim outlet is expanded to reduce the exit velocity and improve the noise reduction.
Unlike most other low noise or anticavitation trims, the CBV-8600 provides inherent equal percentage characteristics. This means that CBV-8600 will provide a quasi linear installed characteristic in most piping system, which will allow better control.
